My stay at the hotel was really nice overall. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of attractions nearby. The dining options were decent, but it would have been better to have breakfast available. The facilities, especially the indoor pool and fitness room, were fantastic.

My stay at the Desert Rose was simply delightful. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the design perfectly captured the essence of the area. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was top-notch. Sitting on the porch at night was truly lovely, although I wished the prices were a bit more budget-friendly. Meeting the wonderful family at Blanding trading post added a personal touch that made me look forward to meeting the daughter and owner on my next visit!

The service at Desert Rose was excellent. The staff provided us with a lot of information about the property and the town, even pointing out some great local restaurants. They were just gracious about getting us a room for the night.

The location of the hotel was great for visiting Monument Valley and other national parks in the area. While a bit farther than expected for hiking at the National Parks, it's perfect if you find yourself in southern Utah on a 15-night journey.
Dining

There was an excellent diner across the road, one restaurant within walking distance, and great options in the restaurant for Dinner and Breakfast.

I found the hotel to be a great choice with clean, beautiful rooms offering memorable views from the pool and gym. The rooms looked brand new with a minor issue of lacking blinds to block the sun. The service was friendly and informative despite some limited dessert knowledge and an attempt at explaining the steaks. The location was stunning, ideal for exploring Monument Valley and other national parks, though we arrived late to find one attraction closed. The dining options were a mix, with overpriced average meals in the hotel but excellent options nearby. Overall, a recommendable stay with a few hiccups.
